Easternlight Films will again have the pleasure of attending the American Film Market (AFM) in Santa Monica this year, which takes place on October 31 - Nov 7.
We are extremely pleased to be presenting our sensational new slate of films within our three labels; Arclight, Darclight and Easternlight Films.

THREE KINGDOMS: RESURRECTION OF THE DRAGON

This epic feature is based on Romance of the Three Kingdoms, a vast 600-year-old novel by Luo Guangzhong which ranks as one of China's four most important pieces of literature.
His country torn asunder by civil war, Zhao, a common man heeds the call of duty and from the humblest of roots rises through the ranks on wings of courage and cunning to command an army charged with liberating the land from an evil warlord.
Inspiring by action, honor and a dream of unifying his divided nation, Zhao's heroism becomes legend, but as the years pass and the throne changes hands the war still rages on. Determined to become a ballroom dancer, country boy KWAN farewells his disapproving father and journeys to a renowned studio in Singapore to train under his idol EMI, a former champion.
A fish out of water, Kwan struggles to survive in the big city, and having taught himself to dance solely from instructional videos he's the worst student at the studio. Emi however recognizes his passion and hidden talent. When the other students shun Kwan as a partner for the looming ballroom dancing championships, Emi steps in and romance blossoms.
However, Emi's ex boyfriend CHENG, the reigning kung fu champion, refuses to let her go and fuelled by jealousy forces Kwan to accept a challenge, a show down of furious martial arts routines, with the loser leaving town, and Emi for good.

When a band of assassins invade the home of their target HEI TAI they find only his bride to be NAMI and force upon her a cruel dilemma: either she kill her fiancee's sister or they kill her fiancee.
