LONG WEEKEND
PRE PRODUCTION

Attempting to resurrect their failing marriage, Peter and Marcia set out on a camping trip to a deserted stretch of the Australian coastline in the hope that a long weekend in the sunshine will help them patch their differences.
They are a careless couple, littering the countryside with garbage, shooting guns and even driving away after killing a kangaroo with their truck. Their callous disregard for the environment soon becomes apparent when animals start to seek vengeance.
Marcia and Peter have proved themselves to be destroyers of nature. Will the animals allow them to leave or will mother nature exact her own destruction?
Director: Jamie Blanks
Cast: Jim Caviezel

DYING BREED
IN PRODUCTION

Dying Breed is inspired by the bizarre Australian legend of Alexander Pearce - a convict of the 19th century, who was nicknamed 'the Pieman' after dining on his fellow escapees in the Tasmanian wilderness before being captured by the authorities. The film is set in the modern day, when a group of four set out on a quest to prove that the Thylacine (Tasmanian Tiger) still lives in the Tasmanian forests. They become prey when they wander into the domain of the living descendents of the Pieman - who retain their ancestor's taste for human flesh.
In the tradition of Wolf Creek and Blair Witch Project, this is a film for the under 30's, featuring Nathan Phillips (Snakes on a Plane, Wolf Creek) and Leigh Whannell (Co-creator/writer & actor Saw Writer and producer Saw 2 & 3).
Director: Jody Dwyer
Cast: Leigh Whannell, Nathan Phillips

The people who brought you WOLF CREEK and the director of URBAN LEGEND take terror to the extreme!
On a weekend boating excursion, husband and wife Rob and Pia become lost in a heavy storm and end up in the most unlikely place - a desolate swamp surrounded by thick forest. With their boat in disarray their only solution is to look for help or seek shelter of some kind. They finally come across a decrepit house and barn with no one home.
But when the deranged, redneck owners, Brett, Jimmy and their even more terrifying father Poppy return, Rob and Pia realize a fear far beyond anything they have ever known, and resentful of the affluent intruders, the monstrously sadistic hillbillies imprison and enslave the couple, who fearing for their lives, submit to appalling degradation and humiliation.
