Easternlight Films will have the pleasure of attending the American Film Market (AFM) this year.
Easternlight Films (a division of Arclight Films) is pleased to announce that we will be joining you at AFM this year with our sensational slate of titles, which includes: HOLLY, the powerful new film by Guy Moshe about child prostitution in the infamous "K11" red light village of Cambodia, starring Ron Livingston, Virginie Ledoyen, Udo Kier, Chris Penn and Thuy Nguyen; and DOG BITE DOG, the latest hard-hitting film from director Soi Cheang, starring Edison Chen and Sam Lee as a monstrous hitman and a sadistic cop on a mission to eliminate one another.

HOLLY is an insightful and jarring story of child prostitution told through the complex relationship between Holly (Thuy Nguyen), a 12-year-old Vietnamese girl, and Patrick (Ron Livingston), an American dealer of stolen artifacts.
Holly has been sold by her poor family and smuggled across the border to Cambodia to work as a prostitute in the infamous "K11" red light village. While Holly waits to be sold at a premium for her virginity, she meets Patrick who is losing money and friends through gambling and bar fights.
Their initial strong connection is disrupted when Holly is sold to a child trafficker and disappears. Patrick's pursuit to find Holly again, and her unrelenting efforts to escape her fate, carry us through the beautiful and harsh Cambodia.

DOG BITE DOG (Action Crime Thriller / Screening)

Starring Edison Chen and Sam Lee as a brutal hitman and sadistic cop respectively, the film revolves around Pang Jr., a young killer from Cambodia who arrives in Hong Kong to assassinate the wife of a judge.
After Pang finishes his job, he gets into a misunderstanding with his agent and is left stranded in the city's unfamiliar streets. At the same time, officer Sam and his team of detectives - Lam, Keo, Cheung, and Wai - arrive at the crime scene to investigate. Wai soon finds Pang with his intuition and starts pursuit, but is eliminated mercilessly. Thus, Pang and Sam become like two wild dogs attacking each other, with neither one wanting to stop until the other falls.
