Darclight Films will have the pleasure of attending the American Film Market (AFM) this year.
Darclight Films (a division of Arclight Films) is pleased to announce that we will be joining you at AFM this year with our sensational slate of titles, which includes: UNEARTHED, starring beauties Beau Garrett - who was recently cast in the upcoming Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer - and Emmanuelle Vaugier as a Sheriff of a small New Mexican town who unearths an ancient evil while investigating a sinister road crash; BODY ARMOUR, starring Chazz Palminteri as an international assassin who puts his life in the hands of his nemesis turned body guard as he waits to testify in an important trial; STORM WARNING, directed by Jamie Blanks (Urban Legend, Valentine) which sees a young couple lost in a swamp seek refuge at an isolated farmhouse only to discover they've jumped out of the frying pan into the fire; TRAPPED ASHES, a ground breaking horror anthology from virtuoso directors Joe Dante, Ken Russell, Sean Cunningham, Monte Hellman and The Matrix's Oscar® winning John Gaeta; BOTCHED, starring Stephen Dorff in a tale of twin serial killers, insane hostages and double-crossing psycho Russian hardmen; SNOOP DOGG'S HOOD OF HORROR, starring hip hop superstar Snoop Dogg who acts as our guide as he leads us into three terrifying tales set in the "Hood", involving the residents of a violent neighbourhood whose actions in this life will determine their destination in the next; and DARK RIDE, starring Jamie-Lynn DiScala in a tale of a brutal murderer who escapes from a mental institution and returns to his turf, the theme park attraction called Dark Ride in which to continue his killing spree...

Seven strangers are trapped inside an infamous "House of Horror" during a Hollywood movie studio tour, and forced to tell their most terrifying personal stories to get out alive.
In the twisted tradition of classic anthology horror films such as Tales from the Crypt, Kwaidan and Dead of Night, Trapped Ashes features four stories of the surreal, erotic and terrifying, directed by five of Hollywood's most unique filmmakers: Joe Dante (Gremlins, The Howling), Ken Russell (Altered States, Tommy, The Devils), Sean Cunningham (Friday the 13th), Monte Hellman (Two Lane Blacktop, Cockfighter), and John Gaeta (Oscar® winner for Visual F/X on The Matrix). In addition, multi-Academy Award winner Robert Skotak (Terminator 2: Judgment Day, Aliens) is serving as Visual F/X Supervisor on the film, and acclaimed Japanese composer Kenji Kawai (The Ring, Dark Waters, Ghost in the Shell I and II) will be doing the soundtrack.

STORM WARNING (Thriller / Post Production)
The people who brought you Wolf Creek and the director of Urban Legend take terror to the extreme!
On a weekend boating excursion, husband and wife Rob and Pia become lost in a heavy storm and end up in the most unlikely place – a desolate swamp surrounded by thick forest. With their boat in disarray their only solution is to look for help or seek shelter of some kind.
They finally come across a decrepit house and barn with no one home.
But when the deranged, redneck owners, Brett, Jimmy and their even more terrifying father Poppy return, Rob and Pia realize a fear far beyond anything they have ever known, and resentful of the affluent intruders, the monstrously sadistic hillbillies imprison and enslave the couple, who fearing for their lives, submit to appalling degradation and humiliation.

BODY ARMOUR (Action Thriller / Post Production)
John Ridley (Til Schweiger) is an elite bodyguard, however his perfect record is permanently marred when his latest client becomes the target of Lee Maxwell (Chazz Palminteri), an international assassin of the highest order. After a fierce gun battle, Maxwell kills the client and wounds Ridley. This traumatic event haunts Ridley, destroys his reputation, and causes him to retire from the bodyguard business.
Years later, Ridley's old boss, Mark Graver (Lluís Homar), offers him a very special assignment. Ridley flies to Spain and meets the mystery client… none other than Lee Maxwell, the man who ruined his life!
Graver assures Ridley that in three days - after Maxwell testifies - Ridley is free to do whatever he wants with Maxwell. Ridley reluctantly agrees to stay on the job, but has to struggle to keep rage in check. When Maxwell's former employers realize he's gone renegade, they hire a team of professional killers to eliminate him, forcing Ridley and Maxwell to go on the run. For three days, the bodyguard and assassin must put their pasts aside, forge an uneasy alliance, and learn to work together as a team.

Scary, wickedly funny and hip, "Hood" features a killer sound track and an outstanding cast including Jason Alexander (Seinfeld) and the great Billy Dee Williams (Batman, Star Wars: Return of the Jedi).
Also includes anime sequences by the Madhouse label, under guidance of John Gaeta (The Matrix Trilogy).
