Now in its sixth year, Arclight Films was founded by Victor Syrmis and Gary Hamilton as an international sales, finance and distribution company which encompasses theatrical, television and home video/dvd. The company currently has offices in Los Angeles, Sydney, Melbourne, Toronto and Hong Kong.
In addition to the Arclight Films label, Arclight Films also incorporates the following labels; Darclight Films, which was formed in 2004 as the genre division of Arclight Films; Easternlight Films, which is devoted to showcasing the best in Asian cinema; and Arclight Television.

BERLIN -- Arclight's "The Bank Job," a heist thriller starring Jason Statham, has been sold in more than 40 territories worldwide.
The movie, directed by Roger Donaldson, tells the true story of a 1971 London bank robbery whose behind-the-scenes activities include murder, corruption and a sex scandal with link to the Royal Family.

Thomas Jane ("The Mist") will topline the $35 million action-thriller "Run," to be directed by John McTiernan for Arclight Films. Arclight head Gary Hamilton is introducing "Run" to buyers at the European Film Market.
McTiernan will shoot the film on location in Argentina. Principal photography is set to begin April 14.
Written by Jonah Loop, the film is being produced by Michael Pierce and Mark Williams. Hamilton and Simon Fawcett of Aramid Capital will exec produce. More >
James Gandolfini has come aboard to star in and produce "Sexual Healing," a biopic about singer Marvin Gaye. Jesse L. Martin already is set to play Gaye in the film, which will be directed by Lauren Goodman.
