Hero. Father. Legend. In the Swiss Alps master archer TELL peacefully farms his land with his adoring wife ZORA and three young children when his idyllic life is shattered by the arrival of tyrannical tax collector GESSLER.
When Tell refuses to submit to Gessler's cruel demands, the tax collector arrests the famed archer and his family and refuses to release them unless he shoots an apple off his son's head. But even after accomplishing the perilous task Gessler goes back on his word and Tell realizes the only way he and his family will ever be safe is by liberating his homeland from Gessler's tyranny forever.
