Since founding Arclight Films, Gary Hamilton’s producing credits have included SALVATION BOULEVARD (2010) starring Pierce Brosnan, Greg Kinnear and Jennifer Connelly, THE BANK JOB (2008) starring Jason Statham, ROMULUS, MY FATHER (2007) starring Eric Bana, LORD OF WAR (2005) starring Nicolas Cage and Ethan Hawke, THE MERCHANT OF VENICE (2004) starring Al Pacino, and WOLF CREEK (2005).
In 2012 Arclight Films is proud to present the comedy A FEW BEST MEN directed by Stephan Elliot (THE ADVENTURES OF PRISCILLA QUEEN OF THE DESERT) and written by Dean Craig (DEATH AT A FUNERAL), MENTAL, a comedy written and directed by P.J. Hogan (MY BEST FRIEND'S WEDDING) and starring Toni Collette, and action film THE COURIER starring Jeffrey Dean Morgan and Mickey Rourke and directed by Hany Abu Assad (Best Foreign Picture Nominee PARADISE NOW).
Arclight Films additionally encompasses subsidiary labels Darclight Films and Easternlight.
Darclight Films was launched in 2004 as the genre division of Arclight Films and its films include the worldwide horror hit WOLF CREEK (2005). The current slate includes 3D shark action thriller BAIT.
Easternlight was launched in 2005 as a specialty arm showcasing Asian cinema. Films sold under the Easternlight banner include the worldwide blockbuster FORBIDDEN KINGDOM (2008) starring Jackie Chan and Jet Li, NEW POLICE STORY (2004) starring Jackie Chan, THREE KINGDOMS (2008) starring Andy Lau, and 14 BLADES (2010) starring Donnie Yen. The current slate includes legendary auteur Chen Kaige's SACRIFICE (2011) and a live action adaptation of the world renowned legend MULAN.
Arclight Films maintains a presence at all major motion picture and television festivals and markets including Cannes, AFM, EFM/Berlin Film Festival, Hong Kong Filmart, The Sundance Film Festival, Toronto International Film Festival and Busan International Film Festival as well as MIPCOM and MIPTV.
